There are so many problems in the

1. There is no explanation why comfort women were sex slaves.

2. It was written based on untrustworthy books and references. One of the biggest problem of this report is it was heavily depend on just one book.

“The comfort women : sex slaves of the Japanese imperial forces” which was written by an Australia journalist George Hicks. Problem of this book is it was written by just one interviewee former comfort woman who was from North Korea and lived in Japan.

Other part is also heavily depend on another book, “Tennó no Guntai to Chôsenjin Ianfu" written by Kim Il-myon. According to most historians, this is a quite untrustworthy source. It’s almost a porn book.

> P7. 21. The report says that many of comfort women killed by Japanese Army, but one of the example, the Micronesia incident doesn’t have any support reference. According to the report, it was in the Hicks’ book which was introduced earlier.

However, there is no such a description in neither Hick’s nor Kim’s books. In the 35th Human Right Council session, Alliance for Truth about comfort women Representative Mitsuhiko Fujii spoke as following:

” The book which formed the basis of the coomaraswaamy report we identified 74 references, on our study of those references, we found that 32 of them had inaccurate information and more than 200 factual errors.  Surprisingly, some of the references originate from comic books. It is a serious problem that Coomaraswamy investigation was based on literature including comic books and filled with Propaganda information ” www.bolantimes.com

When Ms. Coomaraswamy went to North Korea, but she couldn’t get in. The contact window of NK was the pro-North activist group "Korean Council.” (also known as Chong Dae Hyup 정대협 挺対協) They are monitored by the (South) Korea National Intelligence Service Hence Ms. Coomaraswamy couldn’t get in North Korea, she just received materials from authorities. These materials are not dependable.

3. Some of the incidents don’t have any support references.

> P7. 21. The report says that many of comfort women killed by Japanese Army, but one of the example, the Micronesia incident doesn’t have any support reference. According to the report, it was in the previously introduced Hicks’ book.

However, there is no such a description in it.

4. Uncomprehending the circumstance and systems during WW2

>p5. 11 The report tries to make an impression that the first comfort women were Korean. This is wrong.

It says, “The first military sexual slaves were Korean from the North Kyushu area of Japan, and were sent, at the request of one of the commanding officers of the army, by the Governor of Nagasaki Prefecture.”

However, there is no such a support reference exist. At that time, Japanese Imperial Government ruled only up to Taiwan.

5. Ignored important evidences and testimonies. First example, a famous US military report( No.49) was ignored.

Second, Mun Okchu who has physical evidence and seems to have higher credibility person’s testimony was avoided.

Third, US military reports have a story of a comfort woman who left prostitution job after she paid off her own former debt.

This report seems to avoid those brothels followed the prostitution system during that time. According to Mr. Fujii there are more than 200 factual errors, but I stop here for now.

Thx for reading until the end. :)
